They look Brilliant Lorenzo.
I'm really looking forward to receiving them now.
I'll let you know when they arrive.
I would also love to see a tutorial on how you put the gauntlets together from start to finish as I'm sure it would help me and a lot of others a great deal.
Thanks again
Tony
still waiting on some parts to finish these up, hoping todays mail brings them..lol
i was able to make some progress on the right gaunt anyway...these things really are nice cruz!

It's not my treadmill therefore I'm not obligated to use it correctly. My wife goes in spurts when it comes to using it. I also get tired of having to constantly kick outa my way the silver fitness balls she buys but never uses. They become overpriced kickballs for the kids and I eventually end up "accidently" touching them with a utility knife just to get them outa the garage!

I WOULD ALSO BE VERY INTERESTED IN A TUTORAL AS WELL. IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP FOR ME.
Lorenzo,
Your tutorials are always GREAT! And very helpful! Can't wait to get started. Thanks for doing these!![]()
I'm new to Jango and a tutorial would be a godsend.![]()
Ok, once the majority of these orders are on their way, I'll start a tutorial of how I'd recommend putting everything together.
On a similar note, I didn't ship any packages out today as I'm still getting the first 12 unshipped orders ready for shipping. So hopefully first thing tomorrow morning the shipping madness will begin.![]()
Post #1 has been updated with current shipping status on a lot of the orders. I still have a couple more to pack up and ship out today. I also need to stop to make a few additional top right gauntlet shells because I had a few rejects. So the remaining orders on the list will go out little by little as I get those finished. There were a few left gauntlet top shells that I had to do a little filling and sanding to, so if yours comes with a little sanding...don't be too alarmed. I just started what you'd have to do before primering.
I have delivery confirmation numbers on all the packages and they'll all need signatures due to the insurance. Anyone who needs that info, contact me.
Cruzer out and back to the garage!![]()
Allow me to do my dance of joy
Add a little more for flavor

finished my gauntlets so for the most part the costume is finished...got some small things to do like sew in a clip inside the sleeves for the hoses and i wanted to add some fiberglass to the straps on the leg armor as well as sure up the knee armor with some fiberglass too...
i just need to grab a couple 1/4 X 1/8th hose barbs for the right gauntlet.
thanks cruzer for a great kit...and they fit nice too!
Those look bad ***! You can either spray paint all the hose barbs silver or put a little R&B on them, and yeah they should all be the same size. And if you want to straighten up that slider switch, a little clearing up with a dremel bit on the inside should do the trick. Other than that, everything looks great!
I'd use a hanger bolt to attach the right gauntlet top hose fitting if you haven't thought of something already.

WOW I am sooo jealous of you small fore armed folk....
Actually, I think JDFett pushes 6' if he's not taller. Likewise, Steelblitz and Jango 5205 are for sure at least 6' and these gauntlets fit them very well. I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but I intentionally made these gauntlets a tad larger in circumference to comfortably fit a larger person than maybe what Temura was/is.![]()
beleive me when i say...my forearms are far from small...with all the work ive been doing for the 300 group...they have not shrunk..lol at the widest part they are about 13". they will be just big enough to go around my sleeves with the jump suit and im sure i will need some help getting the pin in...but they will fit. i would say im about the largest arm they will fit on however...not too much room to flex when they are on..lol
WOW remember you guys are talking to the only Jango that wears a MLC1 helmet....Guys I am 6'3" and around 270! Might have to try some on sometime though....
I just recieved my box from cruzer and all i can say is WOW!!!! Great job!!!!! Now all i need is some to instruct me on the proper way of putting these together.
Just got my box too, and I agree 100%. Just wow! I'm sure I do have a dumb question about the whipcord part, and mounting Dark-Side aluminum parts to it. The one resin version that is still on it looks good, but isn't going to match the aluminum version when I put it on. I feel like a criminal even thinking about cutting it off...
If anyone wants to post how they drilled in and what they used inside to mount it to the gauntlet, I'd love to hear. Horror stories welcome too!
Who can I buy some raw gauntlets from ? I bid on some on ebay yesterday and they took it off today.*@!#$% LOL!
Tell me which pieces you're talking about. I thought I had everyone covered with modified whipcords for Dark-Side's aluminum hose nozzles.
Glad to hear you guys are happy with them. I'm always "pacing the workshp" till the first packages are received and I get a little input.![]()
Ok, I figured it out after rereading your post and thinking about it.
Actually, anyone who wants to upgrade to Dark-Side's hose nozzles used on the whipcord housing, can just "ring" the resin hose fitting right at the bottom. I'd use a utility knife blade. Then crimp off the resin with a pair of pliers, exposing the armature.![]()

Hey Lorenzo are you going to make it to SDCC this year? If so could you possibly bring a set so I can try them out?
Got my set today. They are definately masterpieces. I got the pieces trimmed and have glued one side of the hinges. I should have them ready to RnB in the next couple days if I get a good working on it on Sunday.
This is definatley one upgrade Im going to make!
The Gauntlets look AMAZING, when do you think the next run will be mate?
Here is where I am at right now with these awesome gauntlets!
Assembled except for the hoses on the right gaunt. Waiting for the darts to dry in place first. Getting close to complete. All RnB'd Hinges assembled. At this point I just need to get the saber darts and the spike. I am loving them!
Those are looking sweet!
Small update: The weekend was just way too busy with family to get any work done. But I did make some new pulls before, so today I'll be trimming those up and preparing the rest of the orders for shipping.
I love them! They fit great. Oh, I am taking that little container of black liquid is a weathering liquid? Because I haven't really looked at it.
Yep, it's charcoal paint for weathering, if you need it. I just sent you a PM about your slider switch and red LED. Glad to hear they fit good.![]()
i just painted my green light with testors tail light red paint...lol i tried putting the other red plastic thing in there and gave up...figured i dont intend on lighting it up anywho...
You have to trim the LED housing just below the threads and then all of the internal stuff will fall out. Then you can push the green lense out through the bottom and insert the red LED I included.![]()
Ok, I'm getting there. The first post has been updated with more shipping updates. Each package has been shipped via USPS Priority mail insured with delivery "confrontation", so a signature will be required for delivery.
Thanks,
Cruzer
Hi Cruzer,
I received mine a few days ago along with the holsters and they are both fantastic quality. Your a real craftsman.
Thanks very much.
I feel the need to send you more money for your shin pieces soon.
Thanks again
Tony
Any updates on these Cruzer?
No, not really. I spent a good 10 hours yesterday making two new holster molds (4 total)...so that I could get the holsters out asap to the people who are waiting for both gauntlets and holsters from me. So now today I'll put in enough leather for two sets of holsters, and chalk up the rest of the day to setting hinges. The hinge work is now the priority since the gauntlet kits have all been shipped. But there's a catch, I only have enough hinge for 3 sets....so I'm coordinating with Dark-Side to send me more asap.
I'm hitting the gauntlet work hard this weekend since last weekend I didn't have time for any work due to the fact I was playing Jedi at a birthday party most of last Saturday:o and had too many family committments that Sunday.![]()
Small update:
Tonight I'll be finishing the first two pairs of gauntlets that needed to be hinged. For those members who asked me to hinge their gauntlets, I also decided to finish trim your shells, spot fill any larger air bubble holes in the gelcoat, sand, and apply a coat of primer.
I have about 3-4 sets of shells left that I have decided are too rough to ship because they were damaged or just plain "beat up" as they were sitting around. So, since I'm waiting on more hinge anyway, I'll be making new/fresh shells this weekend for anyone who is still waiting for their gauntlets.
Tonight I'll post some pics of the gauntlets I am currently working on since I haven't been able to create a tutorial thread.
Thanks,
Cruzer![]()
Now I have finished my gauntlets, and i think they looks good,or?
BTW,Thanks again Cruzer for the awesome Gauntlets, and Dark-Side for the great parts !!!
..great work jabo !!!
They look really clean.
You did a great job on them!![]()
Small Update for those still waiting on their gauntlets:
Illandriel, SoulAssassin, & TB750, your gauntlets and/or hinge work is completed and your holsters should be finished by this weekend.
Darksaber212, your gauntlets and hinge work is completed and will ship out by the middle of this week.
