Cruzer Gauntlet Sing Along

I just got my Cruzer Gauntlet kits in today. Do any of you remember the song "The knee bone's connected to the...thigh bone, the thigh bone's connected to the...hip bone." I only bring it up because this would be a great tune to hum along as you attempt to build these kits. LOL!

I know it's going to look great when I'm finished but it's kind of like when you buy a really killer puzzle based on the picture on the box...then you get it home and realize that you have to actually build it first.

Thanks to Cruzer for a great kit and for taking up a couple of my weekends next month.

:lol:You'd think I would have been able to make them more "user friendly"!

I just built a kit this past weekend and it probably took me a total of 6-7 hours. Follow the steps in the tutorial and it should go pretty smoothly. For the finish, I like to primer, sand with 320, then paint with Dupli-Color silver metallic (does a good job of smoothing everything out), rub down with 000 fine steel wool, then Rn'B. That's what I'd recommend.(y)

This first pic is how they should look before you start any primering, painting, etc. Everything is temporarily attached, all the holes are drilled, all the prep work finished. And then, hopefully they'll look something like the second pic when you're done.;)
