I have sent PMs to a few of you who are interested. I will be making girth belts for people in the order they answered here. The next two up are:
TampaFett and C1RCA.

Remember that the new belts I will be making from now on will look a bit different. The braid will be smaller, tighter and slightly darker (can be lighted up with some weathering/sanding if you wish) and will have a few more rows of braids on the belt to accommodate the smaller size: 6MM. Otherwise, the way they are put together will be the same. I just don't want anyone to order one expecting it to look like the ones seen so far. They will look great, just a little different!

Also, I have received a lot of interest in these and want everyone to know that I will be able to make one for everyone who wants one. It just may take a little time is all!

Have a great weekend!

Got my belt today from Dave and let me tell ya fellas, this guy does fantastic work. For anyone in line, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised by his work. Thanks again man! Good job!

Update!

Hey all! I have just about completed two belts. Just some stitching on the connectors and they are all done for Szlemm and TampaFett. I have attached a quick picture of be "wearing" one. It is about 7" wide but for some reason looks much wider in that picture. Odd. This is the new leather type I am using. New braids. Thinner, darking and smoother. They are VERY new looking but weather up VERY nicely. What you see here is an un-weatherd belt. Anyway I will begin contacting some of you who have PM'd me about getting one. These take a bit of time and are costly to make (the leather supplier just raised prices about 25%! Darn them!) so I will be making them only a few at a time. Here is the belt:

PMs Sent

Next small run will be three or four girth belts. Please, since these are all made to order and made size-specific payment is required beforehand. I don't want to be sitting on any of these since they are expensive to make! Thanks!

I have sent PMs sent to:
Bikerfett
Circa
REDBOY3384
Bubba Kenobi

How difficult are these to make? I am looking to make one for my son's Jango and I found some leather on M&J that I think would work.

Lates, final version. New images.

I am finished with a couple of belts. One is going out tomorrow (Szlemm), the other in a few days (TampaFett). Here are some images of one. Enjoy!

The belt arrived today & it is incredible! I measured wrong though & it won't fit me & that is without any armor on. It is totally my fault Dave. I should have had my wife measure for me. Any way if someone wants it PM me (belt is 37" & I need a 40" with armor). Will post in the cargo hold soon. If you do another run Dave please let me know as I think your work is great.

Are those belts made for really tall people or what? That looks to be way way too wide. The real belt had 19 braids and was approximately 5" wide.

There shouldn´t be a problem in adjusting the design to make them 5" wide insted of 7"..or would it,if that´s the right size i mean?

The photo makes it look much wider than it actually is. It is 7", which, according to many on this board, is the approximate width of the actual belt.

I made it 7 inches to make sure it accommodated the width of the pouch-belt on top of it. If the pouch belt is, say, 3"-4" wide then a 5" girth belt would not allow for much on either side in the way of coverage. It would look way too small, in my opinion. so a 7" belt allows for about 1-2 inches of "peak" above and below the pouch belt.

That said, The belts can be made to whatever width one may want.
