Clips for attaching hoses to sleeve inside jumpsuit

I have the clips and am wondering how you attach the clips to the hoses? I will sew in the portion of the strap to the sleeve but if anyone has advice on attaching the strap to the hoses I'd love to hear it.

This is how I did mine. I know others did things differently. When it was all done, I wrapped it with black tape.

Same here, except no tape, but I used elastic instead of shoe lace.

I was thinking of mounting earth magnets in the hoses and also in the flightsuit, that way you can just poke the hose into the flightsuit and it should grab and hold by itself


has anyone tries this?

Hey Werstrooper, not a bad idea... not sure if it will hold as well obviously, but it WOULD be easier to suit up then.

I did the elastic thing and just glued the hoses to the elastic

I might go back and re-engineer mine with magnets. I just finished a set of Boba gaunts and the magnets worked great, I would think the hoses would be just as easy.

o.o the magnet idea could be tweaked a bit...instead of using magnets in hoses and in suit why not just have a magnet on the flight suit and a metal end on the hose...logically everyone knows metals are attracted to magnets so why not sew a magnet onto the flightsuit that is the same diameter as the inside of the hose end(metal) and then just put the hose onto it,it would hold quite nicely and it wouldn't move if the magnet fit into the end of the hose....just a thought i had...actually i was thinking of doing it like this on my OS Jango build

Use two neodymium magnets and it would be low profile and go nowhere. You might even have a hard time taking them off!

I may try that on the next suit. Glue one inside the end of the hose and the other sewn or glued into elastic attached up the sleeve of the flightsuit.
