    clear coat vs. r'n'b

i was just wondering, can i use a high gloss clear coat on my r'n'b armor? will it adversely affect the finish that i've lost fingerprints to trying to achieve?

I think pretty much every clear coat will dull the finish. I haven't really heard of anyone having much luck with anything to use over RNB. Are you having problemsr with the rnb, or are you just wanting to protect it?

The only thing I've ever been able to use and make it seem protected was a light coat of min-wax. Like a floor wax. Even then you are cutting some of the natural finish down.
RNB is supposed to be like a polish and paint combo in one product and once it dries it becomes like an enamel. hope that makes sense.

Your are just trying to stop finger prints? there is no real cure for that my friend (other than possibly Cold Cast ), but I know the theory you are going after. I'll see if I can track down the product I'm talking about above....

    try this: http://www.minwax.com/
very light coats with an airbrush. may need cut with water perhaps. Been a long time since i've done it.

I top coated my Rub-n-buff with Future floor wax. There is no adverse effect or reations as they are both wax-based products.
