Discussion on ChaosHelljumper's Jango Fett within the Jango Fett Costume forum, part of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Bounty Hunters category; I finished my Jango Fett a few months ago and
As far as can tell, looks great!
Are those Rubies blasters?
Are you related Bib Fortuna...? Sorry, you've probably heard that too many times - if that's your last name (it's on the name plate in the background).
very nice suit! Job well done!
..nice. where is the jumpsuit from ¿
Looks like your mum isn't impressed (in the window), but I am, well done!
Just curious can you give us a parts break down.........
::on the red carpet::
"who are you wearing tonight?"
Okay...Time to answer some questions.
ItsThatGuy - Yes, unfortunatly those are the Rubies blasters. I am looking for a better set. And Buona Fortuna means Good Fortune in Italian.
AdamFrancis - The jumpsuit is put together from 2 Red Kap jumpsuits that my mom and myself cut up and made into what you see. The color is Postman Blue.
firstsonofsolo - PARTS BREAKDOWN
Helmet MSH1 or MSH2, I can't remember - BKBT ordered and hopefully will be receiving soon
Armor - Make from WoF templates
Jet Pack - MLC Arena
Gauntlets - Modified Rufkins
Boots - Military (SWAT) Boot
Jumpsuit - As mentioned above is a RedKap Postman Blue composite
Pouches - Seeker
Holsters - Made myself (first attempt with anything leather)
Blasters - Again as mentioned above are Rubies
Girth Belt - Rope belt I put together
Vest - First picture is a cheap one I got from a TDH member, the second two pictures I am wearing a Loanstar Vest
Gloves - Nordstrom gloves
I think that is everything. Some of the items will be upgraded as time goes by but for now I am taking a break because for the most part I am satisfied with how it looks. And thanks for all the kind words. This wouldn't have been possible with out the members of TDH. Either by getting items or having questions answered by members from old or new threads everyone has helped out a lot.
Dude, that's amazing. Your definantly up there on the awesome Jango scale!
Looks awesome! great job!
The first vest... For a 'cheap vest', that looks pretty good to me. I'm cheap, so who did you get that from? I like it... lol...
Well done sir!
PM'd you Chaos... I'd really like to know who made the first vest. I like the way it fits and want to snag one from the maker if possible.
Well, I am now finished again with my Jango after a round of upgrades/modifications. Now all the armor is held on with snaps instead of velcro. I have my BKBT helmet. New cod piece and new holsters. New girth belt made from leather bolo instead of some rope from Menard's. I trimmed all of the armor pieces to make them fit nicer and I made the gauntlets a little stronger by fiberglassing them and adding a better LED and flamethrower box.
Let me know what you think.
That's one cool looking Jango. Now all you need to do is bang those pics into photoshop and put yourself into a few scenes. That would top it all off nicely
Really cool! Good job with those upgrades!
Wow! Great work man!!
Look'n good. PM sent.
You might want to consider to put a wash of black on all of your leather around the waist and holsters.
Belt, belt pouches, girth belt, and holsters.
I sometimes just dip the whole thing in black watered down acrylic paint. let it sit and dry, then removed some of it with light sand paper

Thanks for the help and any constructive critisism is always welcome. Sorry, I don't know much about working with leather. What would the black wash be for? Weathering?
just to darken it up.
dont get me wrong the images from the natural light looks really good.
i guess the flash makes leather look redish.
very nice! i am a big fan of the new helmet
Nice job Chris!
For a "cheap" vest, it looks really nice.
BTW, what did you use to make the armor out of, anyway?
1) how do you atach the back armor??
2) I done my first holders, but I left I little hole at the end of the hold, how do I to close and have the cannon form?
