Looking good!
Is that only one tone of blue or is the lighting just flushing it out?
I think it's looking great![]()
I ordered Krylon Ocean Blue from misterart.com initially but I recently found out they carry it in-store at ACE Hardware.
Looking great man, keep up the good work!
Yeah, I'm not seeing that color on misterart.com. Maybe I am not looking in the right place.
I'll try ACE - they have everything - yet are about 1/100 the size of Home Depot and Lowes...
At my ACE, the krylon short cuts were not locked up and were completely separate from all the other spray paint. If I had not randomly looked down at the floor I would not have seen them. So you gotta look out. Don't just look in the cabinets with the spray paint.
Here is the misterart link: http://www.misterart.com/store/view/...Short-Cuts.htm
Man, I must be blind! I looked thru all those! Thanks for the help!
I got mine at Ace as well. Same spot, down by the floor. I almost gave up and left but saw it just before leaving the aisle.
How many of those little cans would you need, one or two?
One can should be more than enough. I was able to finish a rubies which I used for practice, a MSH1 that I turned into a Jango by filling in the dent, and then the BKBT all with just a little more than one can.
so whats the other color that is recomended besides krylon ocean blue...I had a good 501st blue paint for my clone trooper and I thought maybe it might have been the same color as that and the other shade was made simply by the weathering? is it actually to distinct blue variations? Ive never seen a screen used costume in person
also im guessing the rest is rub and buff silver?
I ended up finding the Krylon at ACE - and the Rust-Oleum Royal Blue is found just about anywhere (I bought mine at Wal-Mart).
Wow that looks awesome, great job.
