BKBT Jango Helmets and Armor Back In Production!

Thanks BKBT, and thanks guys for the continued support.:)

TLobe00, believe me when I say producing these parts is like a dream come true. Shy of having the actual screen-used parts in hand, BKBT along with Bobamaker and Seeker, have all taken us one step away from complete screen accuracy.(y)

Mandalorian Guard, Dark-Side and Seeker are the knee masters; likewise Seeker for ammo belts, Bobamaker or Loanstar for leather vests, Reinone for boots, and Bobamaker or MLC or MOW for jet packs. I couldn't come close to the achievements these masters have made with their parts. There isn't a jet pack included in the molds I'll be receiving as far as I know.

As for prices, I'm still working on those. I have some estimations for both gelcoat and CC versions based on BKBT's pricing, the anticipated amount of resins and time each part will take, and estimated shipping costs via USPS Priority mail. However, I'd like to make a few parts before setting them in stone.

Mandalorian Guard, PM me if you'd like to see the prices I'm considering.

I'm still wrapping my head around how to proceed with the sale of all these items, but I do know I don't want to bog down the Jango forum with run threads.:confused Maybe I'll beg Sci-Fire to set me up with a linked website to their site or something where I can post pics, pricing, etc.

Thanks again for the support and expressed interest. Let me know of any other questions.

Thats Brilliant news Cruzer.
I was hoping BKBT would come out of retirement soon but I'm sure you will do just as good a job.

I'm needing all the lower armour pieces from the cod down to the boot spats so once you are really please let me know.

Keep up the fantastic work. (y)

Wow, that is fantastic news.. I have his chest pieces as well as knees.. wouldn't mind some of the rest.

Congrats.

Thanks guys for the expressed interest. I picked up the molds last week and they are very nice. I'm working hard to finish up a small holster run so I can move forward with armor production. In the meantime, I'm also making a few parts and creating the templates I'll use to cut out the various shapes in fiberglass cloth. I should be finishing up the leg armor templates today and will move to the upperbody armor next. I promise to post pics as soon as I have a full set to show off.(y)

As for prices, for the most part they're going to stay the same as BKBT's prices, however, now with the inclusion of shipping within the U.S. and the addition of cold cast (unpolished) prices. I'm still trying to figure out a place where I can post them permanently, but I promise to get them out when the time is right. A few of you have contacted me via PM asking for price estimations and I'm more than happy to share what I have as of right now.:)

I guess that's about it. Let me know if there are any other questions or concerns.

Thanks,
Cruzer

I am definitely down for a bucket. PLEASE put me on the list when the buckets become available. With my job and all, I can't check these forums 24 hours a day, and I've missed so many opportunities to buy quality parts like yours. I can have your money to you by the end of the day, any day.

that is GREAT NEWS! i love BKBT! i would say 80% of my armor is BKBT and i love it! I gotta hit you up for a backplate/shins soon! haha!

Ok guys, it's time to get this info out so I'm going to post it here for now. These are going to be the new fiberglass armor kit prices with shipping within the U.S.

There are two prices listed (i.e. $/$): The first price is for gelcoated fiberglass armor, and the second price for unpolished aluminum cold casted fiberglass armor.

The gelcoated armor will need light sanding, primering, and then Rn'B or paint. The cold cast armor will include enough steel wool to use for polishing.

As already said, all of the prices include shipping within the U.S. for that single item. I will give a discount when multiple items are ordered and can be placed into one box. The only items I can't combine shipping on are the helmets because they'll ship in their own box surrounded by lots of large bubble wrap.

The Prices:
  • Dented or Undented Helmet (w/ movable aluminum stalk) - $285/$430
  • Back Armor - $115/$170
  • Gauntlets (complete kit w/o aluminum darts ) - $300/$450
  • Chest, Ab, Diamond, Collar, & Shoulder Armor - $175/$260
  • Cod Armor - $60/$90
  • Thigh Armor - $70/$105
  • Knee Armor - Not yet available
  • Shin Armor - $75/$110
  • Boot Armor - $50/$75
A few members have contacted me expressing their need for armor. So because of this...I'll go ahead and start taking orders from those who want to be at the top of the list...but only with the understanding that armor production will not start until after Dec. 20th when I've started my 3 week winter vacation, and have had a chance to finish up my current projects and new molds.

Let me know if there's anything that needs clarifying.

Please contact me via PM to place an order and get on the list.(y)

Thanks,
Cruzer
