Way to go Cruzer, BKBT is the way to go.
Way to go Cruzer, BKBT is the way to go.
We able to see pics of this armour Lorenzo? Would be great to see.
Wow, that is fantastic news.. I have his chest pieces as well as knees.. wouldn't mind some of the rest.
Cruzer, can't wait to see the pics!!!Great job!!!
Thanks guys for the expressed interest. I picked up the molds last week and they are very nice. I'm working hard to finish up a small holster run so I can move forward with armor production. In the meantime, I'm also making a few parts and creating the templates I'll use to cut out the various shapes in fiberglass cloth. I should be finishing up the leg armor templates today and will move to the upperbody armor next. I promise to post pics as soon as I have a full set to show off.
As for prices, for the most part they're going to stay the same as BKBT's prices, however, now with the inclusion of shipping within the U.S. and the addition of cold cast (unpolished) prices. I'm still trying to figure out a place where I can post them permanently, but I promise to get them out when the time is right. A few of you have contacted me via PM asking for price estimations and I'm more than happy to share what I have as of right now.
I guess that's about it. Let me know if there are any other questions or concerns.

I am definitely down for a bucket. PLEASE put me on the list when the buckets become available. With my job and all, I can't check these forums 24 hours a day, and I've missed so many opportunities to buy quality parts like yours. I can have your money to you by the end of the day, any day.
that is GREAT NEWS! i love BKBT! i would say 80% of my armor is BKBT and i love it! I gotta hit you up for a backplate/shins soon! haha!
Cruzer, I could be in for a bucket.
Its obvious that the future of Jango parts is in safe hands. thank for doing this bro.
Ok guys, it's time to get this info out so I'm going to post it here for now. These are going to be the new fiberglass armor kit prices with shipping within the U.S.
There are two prices listed (i.e. $/$): The first price is for gelcoated fiberglass armor, and the second price for unpolished aluminum cold casted fiberglass armor.
The gelcoated armor will need light sanding, primering, and then Rn'B or paint. The cold cast armor will include enough steel wool to use for polishing.
As already said, all of the prices include shipping within the U.S. for that single item. I will give a discount when multiple items are ordered and can be placed into one box. The only items I can't combine shipping on are the helmets because they'll ship in their own box surrounded by lots of large bubble wrap.
- Dented or Undented Helmet (w/ movable aluminum stalk) - $285/$430
- Back Armor - $115/$170
- Gauntlets (complete kit w/o aluminum darts ) - $300/$450
- Chest, Ab, Diamond, Collar, & Shoulder Armor - $175/$260
- Cod Armor - $60/$90
- Thigh Armor - $70/$105
- Knee Armor - Not yet available
- Shin Armor - $75/$110
- Boot Armor - $50/$75
A few members have contacted me expressing their need for armor. So because of this...I'll go ahead and start taking orders from those who want to be at the top of the list...but only with the understanding that armor production will not start until after Dec. 20th when I've started my 3 week winter vacation, and have had a chance to finish up my current projects and new molds.
Let me know if there's anything that needs clarifying.
Please contact me via PM to place an order and get on the list.

Put me down for a set of the Chest, Ab, Diamond, Collar, & Shoulder Armor in cold cast por favor!
Put me down for a CC helmet with the dent.
I'm doing a Kamino Jango, so the dent is appropriate right?
Well, now that there are gonna be CC Gauntlets better put me down on the list when you get those new molds done....gee Im gonna be broke, but its worth it
Hmm that would make me 100% CC
Please put me down for a undented trimmed gelcoated fiberglass helmet.
Thanks guys for the positive response so far. I've gotten a few PMs already and I just want to reiterate a few things I've told people via PM.
- Please PM me with requests so that we can start the communication process.
- I can still make gelcoat backplates for $95 on my first mold. There will be a small indention on the left shoulder that will need minor filling.
- I'm only accepting paid preorders so that I know exactly how much material to preorder and have ready to go.
- There will be a cut off for this winter push of armor production because I'm only going to accept enough orders that I feel I can complete in the given amount of time. Once I go back to work my time will be limited again and so will the armor production.
That's about it.
Hi Cruzer !
PM send !!
PM sent about a helmet
Any chance of pictures of the stuff you plan on making Lorenzo?
Found this today, this is Cruzer's backplate runs he has done in the past. I'm not speaking for Cruzer but am sure the prices are different due to new mold and different techniques he now does.
Am sure there is another thread, but these should be good examples of his back armour work.
However, anyone familiar with BKBT's armor design knows it is top-notch, and anyone familiar with the contruction of my gauntlet shells and backplates is familiar with the resins I'll use for the gelcoat armor.

For those that are new and unsure of Cruzer's qaulity of work, I would like to comment that you have absolutly nothing to worry about. His attention to detail and experience with casting is exceptional and outstanding. I have seen his work in person, and can assure everyone that you will recieve the highest quality possible!
Thanks TubaC and thanks to everyone for the interest!:thumbup
I've decided to not take any more orders for now. This is primarily because I received more orders for CC than expected, and CC production takes a lot longer than standard gelcoat. So I just want to make sure I can finish the orders I have in a reasonable time. Once I begin finalizing these orders, I'll begin taking more...hopefully in the beginning of January.
I'll post some pics as soon as I can of both the gelcoat and cold cast results.
