Hey All...quick and easy question. I want to make sure I cut this helmet correctly. It looks like there's a bit of a "dip" in the pull...is this an abnormality? Should I cut flush to the ear and create a smooth line to the back, or leave that little "lip" behind the ear?
When in doubt - Look at a relevant picture of an original matching the version you want to do (doesn't matter so early in the build in your case though) and do it like on the original.

I cut that down to about where you have it and then I sand it clean with a drum sander on my dremel. It should look smooth and finished when you are done.
Also since that area will be painted you can touch up any rough areas with bondo if needed.
Never mind. I need to pay attention to which forum the post is in. Carry on. Nothing to see here.
I hope you can see here the angled transition, instead of a smooth one (like Boba has):

Hi Gforce, I have working now an Asok helmet, yes you must cut that part and make some work (pulish and other) to get better that little side, check over here my side and my Asok helmet work.........

kaane pointed it out already, so there's no need to explain the step-like angles between the jawline, ear, and back of the helmet in any detail, that picture said it all perfectly.
