Artek's jango helmet painted by me!

time for another jango helmet paint up! and once again i am terrible at taking progress pictures, hooray!!! but here's where the bucket is at right now, as of 5:15 a.m. 11-12-11.

right now it's been sanded up to 1000, painted, and polished. my next step is to put the mesh in the back, and begin work on the ear cap and rf topper. with any luck i'll be awake in time to get to the welding shop to pick up a visor before they close, but if i don't make it tomorrow i'll go on monday. either way the plan is to clean the flash off the ear and rf, sand them smooth, and get them primered and ready for painting on sunday.

your colors look pretty good there. the dark blue is a little different than what i use, but it's not that far off. if that's the closest you can find in your area you're doing just fine.

WOW!!!! that helmet looks amazing. The finish looks like polished platinum. As far as a helmet seal, what about a motorcycle supply company? Dennis Kirk sells one for cold weather riding that sits flush in the helmet.

i think he means the helmet skirt that chucko makes. and if you're interested in having your helmet done like that just drop me a pm.

also Saint, do you have the interior liner for the helm or know where i can get?

i just put some foam in it. these asok helmets are a little on the small side.
