Please do not post ebay links that are not to your auctions per the CoC.
didnt know ^_^ "sorry about that master", well since you did post me something, care to tell me if this is any good, can i trust it??
...what Asok said.
Plus the armor is just cut Sintra. It's not cut or shaped very well. I would avoid it. You'd be better off with the WOF templates and cutting your own.
ok... i get it ^_^ sorry bout that, im new you know, hehe, but for sintra i need a heat gun right ? is it expensive to it on your own ?? i mean i like the idea of fett full of dollars, but donno about how thick it will turn out, what do you recommend me Buba, what's the best way to go for a beginner!?
I would browse the forums more. If you are on a strict budget there is some great armor tutorials on making it out of a trashcan. Sounds funny, but it looks great!
hmmm.. looks ok to me dude but yeah as Bubba Fett says it's not cut or shaped very well
Don't like me, I believe that this not of good quality!!!!
erm guys - maybe I browse far too many diff sites. but have seen that set of armour as well as the seller concerned on MMCC (cyanide72 i beleive). His details are in a thread and he has been billed as "good". I believe this particular cut has already been molded to shape.
Similiar offer by another ebayer called shubiwan or something like that - although some isues re: price and shippin.
it is all made of 3mm sintra as per the advert.
in a where to buy thread over there - bobamaker and cyanide72 are listed under the same heading as a seller of whole kits
pls - dont flame me - merely passin on info I have gleaned from other forums.

if you are doing this for a one time thing then go for it. if you are doing this to keep for a while and use multiple times or even display then pass and search the boards more before you make any decisions.
thanks for the help till now.... i'll say then that this is average armor^_^ Buba fett says that i try the "trash can" method, that means that is the better way to go, or i can go for this armor, maybe if a take good care of it?? i donno, to the naked eye seems good to me, but i really appreciate all your good comments of experience
Like others said. Really search the boards and do a lot of studying of pictures. This armor has somewhat of the basic shape but has no depth. Don't just rush into getting armor. Worst mistake you can do. Good luck and if you have any more questions just ask. You can pm us too if you have questions also.
Thanks for the info. I saw that on Ebay too and couldn't see it very well
PMed ya buddy!
Nice work ...hahahahaa just kidding folks
ivansith seems to spam around just to get the rights back to go into cargo hold ...
I guess The Dent should overthink some more rules than just the number of posts ...
Soon all threads will be flooded with spam ... just for one goal ...
but thats just my 2 cent ...
its just 175 bucks, do you have any experience with this ?
I too have seen this armour too on ebay ,it look accurate to me ..it might be worth a buy if you ask me ,and its fiberglass too in uk currancies thats a steal for $175 = about £80
good luck buddie

yes it is smallblock302's armour ...i asssume he was a memeber on here and taking credit for for some else,s hard work yes ? ..that sucks!!!..i didnt know he was a recaster !!
Maycol. I'd avoid ebay if poss and either A) do it yourself from sintra. You don't need a heat gun as I shaped mine using a hairdryer. Or B) buy from a member here. You get quality and a fair price too.
Hey guys, you really are a good help, you are my mentors ^_^ for real, i say it from the bottom of my heart
till now the only armors i have seen that are decent are of course the BM and that from evolutions, but, im gonna think about making my own out of sintra or the "trash can" method
If you were willing to spend 175 on that armor, then why not just by BM?
BM is a bit pricey yes but at the end of the day its what you get what you pay for .
yeah so i heard BM is so awesome it makes me cry, wish i had 1000 buck just to spend crazy on him
Spend Less, Save more. Mow your neighbors lawns for some money. Save up allowance. Do whatever you can to get BM!!!!!! lol, dude, I think that if you just absolutely cannot afford BM's stuff, then scratchmake it.
Unfortunately, I have some armor from Deathstar. I bought it before doing my research on here (learned my lesson). I was able to make it into something halfway decent by heating and shaping it a bit. "As is", it is pretty much void of any shape, i.e. flat. The more I look at it and compare it with Christian's stuff (cucblack on eBay), I think it is a recast of his armor.
Go with BM if you can, or try to scratch build. You can find some threads on here of some very nice scratch built stuff.
The easiest way I found to shape sintra chest armor is to boil each section separately and then lay it face-down inside of a glass saucepan lid. (Preferably one with a removable handle on the top.)
Wear gloves and work quickly because it will cool down fast.
I have to say that i went for Christian's stuff (cucblack on eBay) but Unfortunately he left me standing for over a month with no armour and was rude by telling me not to bother him ect ,in the end i got a full refund !!!
The more i look at BM armor, the more i want that, someone wants to give me a xmas present ??? what a hint of what i want?? ^_^
Not wishing to derail this thread...
But I know of some ROTJ 'FP V3' armour coming up very soon...
Oh no... thats not derailing at all ^_^ i think is great to know that for all of us
besides, this thread will die one day or another :P
make sure to look at SEEKER's armor forming tutorial in the wiki. heat formed armor with no vac table!
Yeah i saw that but he has a mold already, apart from that all seems pretty easy ^_^
how did he made the mold ?!?
i bought some of the first armor that was shown. if you do buy it , better have a heat gun and alot of bondo! you might as well scartch make it.
i bought the stuff before i knew about good armor.
if you can afford it ,BM armor or fett prides stuff.
thanks boomer, guess thats th better way to go ^_^, well i think im gonna start saving right away then.. XD
Ufff, looks like cheap man
Definitely I saw better
let me think... better like BM or FP, right LOL i know i know, just asking newby questions, dont worry about it.... or could be that you know of another one ??? tell me tell me ^_^
i would wait and do some homework before buying, they look good in the pictures but can be dissapointing when you recieve them.
i,ve had a couple of good friends who did the same thing with starfortress costumes, bought them thinking they looked good in the pics but when they eventually got them, they we're **** i'll let you fill in the blank!!.
LOL.... so many words with 4 letters ^_^ but i think its not "nice" or "good" LOL
so maycol have you made your mind up on armour ? lol
Well, i bought a fiberglass 4 piece chest, shoulders and collar, i'll wait on the rest for some good ol' BM armor ^_^
ahahah Ivansith wants to get banned.
As far as this armor goes.... no. It's good you got something like fiberglass. Although I don't know what kind you're probably better off. While that armor on ebay resembles fett armor it could be made by you out of trashcans for $10 so why pay more on ebay for armor that is still not accurate.
Hope your fett works out for you
Also, reading through this I don't think anyone responded that you can heat up sintra in a pot of boiling water for about 10-15 seconds. Makes it very pliable - and if you use a heat gun you needs a respirator for the harmful vapours - which do no come off when you boil it.
The WOF templates work very well for all except the backplate takes extra patience due to the compound curves.
Late into this I know, but 2 cents ...
Has anyone checked out Cucblack's gauntlets??? 99.9999999 % sure that they're FG Ruffkintoys copies The chest armor in his auctions are old time Bradley/Chaucer44/SFP armor (in order of original maker, to recaster, to recaster) Be careful of these eBay folk.

Yeah, I made my son's armor out of sintra and found it very easy to work with. I just found some objects that I could shape it around after I heated and it worked like a charm. Even the backplate turned out nice. Cheap, easy to redo if you mess up and better than most eBay armor you'll find. If you can't find or afford the BM, FP, MLC stuff, then I would recommend the sintra route (or trashcan if you want to save even more money).
Anyway, seems like you have a set now. Good luck with the build.
Nice looking set of Sintra armor for sale in the CH currently BTW.
hmmm...when i started looking for armour i had made an order with Cucblack ,however i never got my armour from him after he tried to screw me over with no armour and no refund till later i filed on him and left him a negative hahaha his only come back was saying i was unpolite and aggressive ..well wotever Cucblack !! Cucblack was rude and aggressive by telling me not to bother him in private emails ,too bad really i should have posted them on ebay
I'm Christian or cucblack.
I just to tell you that I not copied or used any other person's products, these are all my own work.
Any sugestion or coment about my work, welcome.
