Great Job Ronin! I get a PM about every two weeks because someone wants your designs, I always give them out, but I always credit you!!

btw i ended up using the sleeve templates from this thread http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showt...ight=flak+vest (just found my own design suited me for the vest itself). one last thing, my original design for the vest possibly needs an extra inch of material on the bottom.

you are right it does have a zipper.
btw i'd like to thank the very kind person on this forum for selling me the material. they know who they are, so thanks![]()
here she is all done (just the collar studs to put on, and weathering on the shoulders)
the right hand plates looks slightly on the wonk but is ok once the vest is on.
and my weathered shoulders![]()

You may want to mask off the skull decal and mist some black onto it.
stand back about 3 feet and apply light mist clouds to it.
check each time till you get the desired look.
then - wait about 20 mins - then using a sharp needle or similar tool, make the "white" scratches on it - just scrape off the paint.
the rest of the bells are not misted - hence the masking off.
Well if I would have know you were going to be competition I would have never sold you the material....lolOriginally Posted by Ronin677
