Thanks for the help (from the lurker) -- YOU MADE MY KID'S DAY!

Hey, I just wanted to thank everyone for the help in making this Halloween great! My kids are at the age when Star Wars is a religion...and with your help, I was able to show them an acceptable replica of the Fett.

I would have bought the vest, but with little time, I ended up sewing it myself, along with the spats, which you can't see.

You guys really helped out for everything. I'll never hit the leagues of the guys I've seen on the forum...but wanted to thank everyone who contributes.

That's fantastic!
The best part about all of this is seeing the kids totally lose it. I have 3 boys, 10, 12 and 14 and all of them, even the oldest, gets an ear to ear grin on his face when I'm suited up in my Vader. Halloween is definately their favorite time of year at this point!
Now that I mentioned I'm going for Fett to give Darth a rest a bit, they're all really pumped. This year my youngest went as a Clone Trooper and we turned heads as always, and now he wants to go as either Fett or Jango next year if I manage to get a full Fett by then!

Thank God my wife's supportive of this stuff. lol

and Dp74.. with a year till next Halloween i am sure you will be able to get the whole suit together just keep an eye on the forum for the pieces you still need

Amen to taht. My wife even suggested taht we do custom Mando's for our boys for next Halloween. She's been doing some scetches since last week for them, they're giving her good ideas. My oldest son (he'll be almost 7 for next Halloween) wants lots of flame throwers, lol.

Yeah, I figure a year away I'll have the time, no matter how impatient I get. lol
My wife's interested in all this, and I MAY be able to convince her into letting me spend some cash on a great outfit for her. She 'gets it' with the whole Replica Prop Outfit thing, completely understands and her theory is if it makes me happy, then it's worth it and she really helps ALOT with getting things to fit and look right. But she's not found an outfit she's really into at this point.
I just need to wait for CargoHold access! =)
