Slot dimensions and Fettronics light boards

I had a question about this, so I thought I would send out a post to see what others thought.

In one of the older posts, slot dimensions for the TK409 boards were

Length of slots: 48mm
Height of top slot: 5mm
Distance between slots: 7mm
Height of bottom slot: 9mm

I think the Shackman and TK409 boards use the .3 inch segment displays. My boards use the .39 inch segments displays.

My board dimensions are

Length of slots: 50mm
Height of top slot: 5mm
Distance between slots: 5 to 9mm (normally 8mm)
Height of bottom slot: 10mm

The screen used version cut the last character in half, so getting the slots cut at the 48mm wide dimensions would be screen accurate.

My question is, what dimensions are the armor makers using? Has anyone who purchased a Fettronics board had trouble with the slot sizes?

It's a bit late in the day now, but I'll measure mine tomorrow. I've got BM armour and was planning on buying one of your boards at some point in the future. All I can say about the slots at the moment is that when he asked me how I wanted the slots done, I asked him to do whatever he thought was closest to ESB.

Distance between slots: 8 to 9mm
Height of bottom slot: 8mm

Nice to know, my BM armor is on the way and I also planned to buy the Fettronic board.:thumbsup

So, what is the consensus? Will my stock lights work with these dimensions?

I cut my slots to your dimensions. They look very accurate, comparing to ref pics. Hope to order one of your boards after the holidays.:thumbsup

Does anyone know if Fetttronics boards will fit a Fettpride v3 armor set?
