    Sixxgunn13's ESB MOW Gaunts..almost done

    Hey peeps,

    Thought I'd share some pics of my Gauntlets I worked on this weekend.
    I used Rattle cans to do the major paint then my airbrush to do the details.. I would have used all airbrush but due to $$ I had to work with what I already had.
    The left gaunt is almost finished just need to dremel the front arch and add switches, the right needs more paint and darts added.


    My MOW gauntlets have been modded to have a piano hinge closing system (pain in the but to do...)
    The Flame thrower is a scratch built one I bought from a member last year. (will upgrade later)

    Well on to pics.

    Here they are drying

    Here is the right gaunt..I had to redo this one cause the masked areas look like fodder... the first time, needs a bit more work.

    Here is the left gaunt.

    Here is a view of the flamethrower.


    LMK what you think, if you see anything i missed feel free to LMK.

    I want to thank Mojo-Fett and GCNgamer128 for their help and anyone else who's answered my questions about ESB gauntlets..

    As you can see in this pic, the left gaunt has a grey paint on the clousure (You can see it on the Jeremy costume too ):

    Thx KaanE...but I do have it there you just cant see it in the pic I have up.

    very cool.

    Me personally dont like tht dark green. That was a tape mistake and the gaunlet had to be repainted when the tape was removed.

    Very cool weathering A...
    I also think that the green/grey appears too dark on ref material due to bad lighting etc...

    Just need some wash to tone down the colours...

    Thx guys, it means a lot getting a from you guys.

    I will be posting more pics but my dog Chewbacca "chewie"

    chewed up my camera cord so i'll have to buy a new one.

    I did add the the darts and a few toggle switches, so i'm almost done,
    all I need to do is buy a momentary switch for my smoking Jet Pack will be posting pics of that once I buy the solenoid but thats another post.
