sintra shoulder bell help
hey all
almost finished my aluminium boba helmet(will post a few pics soon) and lookin to start on the shoulder bells.i was going to make them from alu but after reading quite a few threads on folk making armour from "sintra" i though i would make them from this.only problem is i'm not to sure exactly what this material is and if its an american name for the material.as im from the uk i take it it may come under another name over here.any help on this would be great.i also tried searching for a template for the shoulder bell but just couldnt find it.if any one could give me help on this that would be great.many thanks paul
Re: sintra shoulder bell help
Hello,
The Shoulder bell templates are part of the armor templates, here is the link to the thread:

Jango templates are also available.
Sintra is a brand name, it is expanded foam PVC sheet. In the UK it is called Foamex.

Here in the US, places that make signs are a wonderful source for sintra.
