    Scratchbuilt Shoulder Pad (Progress Pictures)

Hi everyone at the Dented Helmet !!!
After scratchbuilding my Helmet ( http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showt...chbuild-Helmet ) and my Blaster ( http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showt...ss-pictures%29 ), I decided to go for the left Shoulder Pad. Again, I used the great WOF's Armor Templates .
I took progress pictures, but if you have any question, please feel free to ask ^^ !!!( comments are welcome too)

    Very good work.
What is Styroglass? Is it a fiberglass and plastic composite?
Time to do the other side.

    Hi and Thank You !!!
Styroglass is like Plexiglass, it's an Acrylic sheet. Easy to bend with a heat gun ^^.

Nice job, man! I did the same thing with a 3" bore piece of PVC.

Awesome work! (all of it). I think I may want to try your sieve method for a helm. What did you use to fill the dome? Any suggestions/tips that you have to help me in this build? Thanks.

Hi Drexx Korso and thank you for your nice comment !!!
So you want to try the "Sieve Method " haha ? Well this is a nice idea if you don't have a skateboard or baseball helmet...Just make sure you put bondo inside and outside, the two layers will stick together through all the little holes of your sieve. Then use some sandpaper, I recommend you do it with the palm of your hand, you will "feel" the shape better (and add some bondo in the gaps if necessary). As for the rest of the helmet, my only advice would be to stick to the WOF templates and use all of them . Also cut your visor at the very last moment because it will help your helmet keep its shape through the scratchbuilding process.
Are you going to use Sintra or cardboard ?
I hope I answered your question , but if you have others please feel free to ask ! I will be very happy to help you through the all process (building, painting etc... ) !
