    Ruffkintoy's ESB gauntlets Interest Thread

    New pics added of the white accents on the right gauntlet. I used adhesive backed vinyl for this.

    I did scratchbuild it but this is a plastic casting(no steel rods in this one though Bobo)
    This was the first casting for testing, I will try to add rods on the next one.
    I will try to get pics of it on a gauntlet soon.

    Those look great, but I have a very small suggestion.
    The tips should probably be a little flatter and the bars could probably be a little thicker.

    That's just what my eyes see, I could definately be wrong, especially on the textured nozzle. Reguardless, I'm definately interested in a pair of these, they look awesome.

    Im still waiting for mine... Bloody holidays and all will slow things down a bit, plus being in Canada...

    But yes, what colors are used here? I'm about to go dig up the RS Studios thread and see if they have the info.

    For the green I used Panzer olive grun, just like the ESB helmet. I thought it came out pretty good. I used a silver base coat, then the Grun. i tried rubbing the green off to expose the silver but I kept going down to the plastic so I brushed some silver over these areas to highlight the damage. For the black marks I used a black crayon, marked the areas and then used a sweaty finger(sounds funny but it worked)and blended the crayon in a little.

    What do ya have lit up or operating on the two toggle switches? I'm thinking about rewiring my black voice amp to turn on and off via a switch there and using plug cables.

    So far for colors I have the following

    Panzer Olive Green
    White
    Black (Flat)
    Light Grey (same as on helmet)
    Gold (for the rocket and the middle pipe?)
