ROTJ Right Guant Question

I was looking at a picture online at the right guant. I looks to me that I am not sure what it is called, but the the piece that has the two hoses attached to it. Well that it is glued to the area where the top and the bottom part meet. Tell me what you think, here is the link

You are correct. Some guys will glue half of it to the one side and secure it with screws or rivets. That is only if they clam shell the gaunt. If not, then glue away!
