Discussion on PP1 Collar Clip what is it? within the Boba Fett Armor forum, part of the Star Wars Original Trilogy Bounty Hunters category; I have started to build the PrePro 1 Version and
I have started to build the PrePro 1 Version and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of clip is attached on the collar armour?
I’ve looked for a car / airplane belt buckle or a Para glide buckle but nothing looks the way like this one.
Any suggestions?

I think you should try to look for something called a "bayonet buckle."
That's what it looks like to me. Here's a pic of something similar.

Remember guys, most of this stuff follows a theme. Check out some of the scuba buckles, like for knives or fins.
Its not designed to hold a tremendous amount of weight and it looks plastic (so it won't rust underwater maybe)
I could be totally off, but if I was looking thats where I would start.

Just did a quick search on fin buckle
That fin buckle looks pretty good.
