position of Cod and kidney plates

Hi ppl

I have just cut out the templates for my cod and kidney plates and they seem to sit really low on my hips (well just below my hips actually). The siting height is dictated by the cod piece obviously.

does this sound about right? and does anyone have pics of where is sits minus the girth and ammo belts?

Sorry to ask for so much and be a pain.

Jon, my cod sits about how you describe.
But I don't have any pics showing it without the girth/ammo belts.

Thanks Superjedi. I figured this was about right but needed to confirm it before i cut the actual armour plates.

I have mine primed and ready for paint, and I can tell you as well, they do, in fact sit low, much lower than you would *think*.

The girth and ammo belts help bring the "belt-line" up to where it needs to be.
