Hi again people of the helmet.

Has anyone used humbrol colours for their armour?

Above is the add for the airfix webiste which has the hunbrol colours on it, just wondered if any were used at all as im finding it very hard to find the paints that others have used.

I especially want the shoulder bell colours (ESB) that I could use with humbrols.

If no one knows...i'll experiment.

I assume your refurring to their acylics? Enamel paints will look terrible! I use Games Workshops acylics as they're easy to get hold of (you can order them online or get them in a store) and they can be easily mixed to the exact colour you need.

I'd go with acrylics as well, i got mine from hobbycraft. Huge range of colours so you should be able to find the right ones. I actually used tamiya spray paints (camel yellow) for my shoulder bells and knee armour. I'm doing a ROTJ suit and don't know if there's any differences with this part of the armour to the ESB version
