Just an update ... finally got off my rump and finished updating the other
promised parts molds. Finished the new collar last night ... even had to make
some adjustments to the backplate that ya'll have requested. Bells are being finished tonight. Oh, and the ESB V.1 is also done Bout time huh?

Will try to dig back into the PM box for you all. Again, as always, thanks for your patience and understanding !

I'm not saying I'd shoot someone for their armor, but if someone tried to take a set of FP armor I ordered, I've got a 39mm back-up plan that actually works....

Well there is one big set of differences between the PS3 and FP armor... FP armor delivers what it promices and never lets ya down... cant say that about the PS3... Oh SNAP!!!

Im just playin' with ya bro. That was just me taking a low blow at SONY for getting people stupified over nothing. I was once the bigest Playstation fan in the world but since the PS2 came out I have felt... let down is a word to describe it...

But back to topic... This armor dose indeed rule. I have gotten a set for my suit and FP gives you top quality, thrick sturdy pulls that do nothing short of crown the suit with one of the 2 most important peices in my opinion... the other being your helmet! WAY TO GO FP! :thumbup

So has it been released yet, or are a select few getting it before it's 'official' release?

That's the question everyone wants to know. I don't recall ever seeing a sing up thread or list though.

Well here is a set of Version 2 I've been working on and off on since like July. I've been crapping up the paint job since then and I've quit working on it so I can do my TE stormtrooper. Go easy on me, its my first prop painting after my helmet and all you see in the picture is all I have for my costume so far.






I am in various stages of painting so excuse the wierd pictures and I apologize to all the good painters in the crowd.

Did we miss something? Like a sign up thread?

When you joke, and I think you are, indicate it with a to avoid confusion. I dont want to acidentally start more **** for poor FP like the last time someone and not someone else got armor. At least 3 other people besides me have this armor. If FP is nice enough to make a set for someone once in awhile, thats his buisness. I didnt post it to get FP into trouble. He was nice enough to agree to give me Version one and then he suprised me with giving me one of the very first Version two sets of armor so I wouldn't feel slighted when the next gen came out soon after. He updated the molds when I ordered the version one.
Obviously producing hundreds of armor set is a chore. I feel lucky to have my set and please dont feel bitter.

That said, thanks for the compliment! I am repainting alot of it soon with some better techniques I've since learned. I'll post it up when I do.

Humor aside, it does seem odd to me that he would answer some PM's and not other ones.

He runs his own buisness, but I would think that only giving certain people sets first would be rather odd.

Dont take this as a flame of any sort. Hes only givin some people sets because they have helped him lately with some things, such as research. Fettpride is still developing and refining the armor and he will release it to the public when the time is right.

To the best of my knolage FP has never done a "Sign up" thread. He post when he has something new and folks PM him with interest and it goes from there. A couple lucky folks, Web Cheif for example have goten a set... but in all honesty FP, according to his post has only just now finished the collar, back and sholders for this new version.

Be patient, FP will get back with ya! And it will be worth it!!!

GEEEZ, while I was typing that last one the gates must have opented... *slaps face*

Just to make a small point... while every one always wants the good stuff keep in mind that FP is One man and he has a life. Hes always been about going above and beyond for folks on this board and has put more hours then I can count making and tweeking these great costume peices. He deserves thanks, not bickering over who got what in what order.

Hmm I doubt that he does that. Although when I send a PM I also sent a read receipt so I know that he has read my PM's in the past, just hasn't gotten around to responding to them.

Guys, FP doesn't do this for a living. This is his hobby for him too. If he chooses to sell to a few people now and then that's his business. He doesn't owe any of us his parts.

How much should we be looking at a set of this costing?
I'd also like to know how durable this stuff is, I realize its not "REAL" armor but some vacuum formed stuff gets insanely brittle.

I won't speak to the price because that's FP's place to do so but I will say mine was very resonably priced. Much cheaper than other alternatives I've seen.

As for the durability... I can't complain. The armor is nice and sturdy. Nothing brittle on mine.
