NEW DESIGN BOBA KNEE DARTS

Hey guys,

These are my Accurate Boba Fett Knee darts "C4 version". These will be the ULTIMATE darts .
Sorry if i wrote "NEW" on the title,but i didn't know that DeanO made these before to me!

I’ve been working on these babies with the help of Benkenove for a long time, (thanks man,and... Kaane,Spideyfett and Piero Bockos, thank you too for the help!:thumbup:thumbup) checking meassures, checking every pic and making some prototypes to be 100% sure the final result was perfect.

Specifics:

• These darts will be 100% accurate in size. (diameters and lenghts) and will fit ALL THE KNEES out there .
• These darts will have ALL the correct bevels, and also the 3 grooves in the outter “ring”.
• Assembling method. These darts are supposed to be accurate in all the fields, and the assembling is another point. NO SCREWS ANYMORE. These will be pierce the abs knee and glued and secured by the back of the knee, (exactly like the FP v3 knee). So these darts will fit perfectly the FP armor, but also can be used with any other knee version. You only have to drill a hole with the size of the base, and, for exmaple, GOOP it from the back.
• Darts will have the bottom “ring” 1.5 cm. longer than normal, so you will have more than enough material to work with the placement, goinf throught the abs and securing from the back.

Here you can see some pics of the prototype, so you can make an idea. This pics are not the final version. Mods have been done to them… longer base for accurate assembling, grooves have been modded as well to be exactly like the original onces and small cone dart has been shorted a little.

I don't know how many times we have went rounds per PM's but I posted in my post that when I made the knee darts that mine were the "MOM" style.


The ones being offerd by Dark-side are another version...."AOSW". They are the ones being used on the "SE" Fett. Only difference is the grooves or bevels, what ever you want to call them. A "chamfer" is the correct name. Both versions are "REAL".

well,I'm happy to see that someone did them before me...but I don't know him and I don't know what he did in the past.
Also about the differences between "MOM" style, "AOSW" style etc etc...
I can tell you I'm not a boba expert and I asked the pics to some guys and i saw that there was some darts with the 3 grooves and others without!
So,I decided to make the version with the 3 grooves only because in the Boba costume at the C4,the darts was in this way!

I'll edit my 1st post and I hope to resolve your precise statements.

Yep, Dark-Side is making the final touches on these. But He's making the darts for the Cruzer's gauntlets and He hasn't got time . Maybe next week he will post some updates.
