This is definitely some of your best work! The detail and painting is some of your best, nice job.

Beautiful work! Only comparison I would make is that the eyes seem to be too far back on the helmet and they need to be thickened up.

I used my own colour mix for every part. (Revell Enamel)

This is definitely my favorite work of yours so far. I think I'm most impressed by all the little greeblies and details on the pack and the shoulder latch. I'd be tempted to redo the dome and lower the eyes, but it all looks really great. Would love to see it all together being worn

Thanks a lot for all the compliments. Try to do my best to get the costume ready this summer. Here’s a little update; I’ve finished the work on the triangular shaped flamethrower (left Gauntlet)

So good! There have been days that I have wanted to sand down my armour and helmet and make this version...but I can't! And people like you are cruel for tempting me to do so! Fantastic work, I especially like those gauntlets.

Nice! How did you make the flamethrower unit on the left gauntlet? Is is plastic or something else? Was the clip on the right side of the collar armor a found item or did you scratch build that?

You might want to change the belt pouch layout though. In the reference pics, there are 6 pouches across the front ( 2, then a little space, then 4) and the remaining 2 pouches go behind the saddle bag on your left hip. See?

Here’re some pictures of my upgrades.
I’ve re-coloured the Bobamaker Flak vest into a light grey;
I also changed the colours of the Chest, Diamond, Cod, Shoulder and Collar piece.

Good lord, I ache to see this thing assembled. Pre pro 1 is without a doubt classic Fett. It's even got more character. Everything else matches. But in multiple accounts, it's mentioned that Boba Fett won't get rid of a piece of armor unless it's beyond salvage. That means he'll have mismatched gauntlets and a ridiculous jetpack that matches nothing. ESB Fett is just icky, and RotJ is pretty nice, but too... uniform. He feels less like a person and more like a soldier. Dime a dozen. Pre Pro has the most heart, and 1 especially has that classic taste that screams FETT, and Boba_die_Wix, you've done him a great service. Thanks, I can't wait for more pictures. And is it okay if I pm you with a few tech questions?

You changed the right chest piece didn't you? It's the one thing that really stood out from your paint up. I've just seen in all the PP1 photos that right chest piece is just a whole lot more BLUE than the rest of it. Good lord, I need to buy a bucket already. I've tormented myself enough visiting this site everyday. I've been meaning to get started on my fett, but sometimes it's just too much to take in. So a bucket first. THEN worry about paints while I bondo the dent. Which reminds me, does anybody actually do a PrePro1 cast or anything? I mean, I could get a Jango, but it's been argued to death that the dimensions are all off. It's not really a big deal if nobody does though, I've prepared to dig deep for this project, I mean really, what's a 15 dollar thing of bondo? Pffft. That'll be the cheapest thing I buy for this fett. >.<


Also, Sven when I asked to PM you, I mean down the line, I've got no serious queries up to now. I was just making sure it was cool to ask you questions, you're one of the more active members I've seen, so I was just making sure.

I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but it's a misconception regarding the blue color of the the Pre-Pro #1 helmet and armor and this is due to the images which had an accentuated blue hue. I know that Boba_die_Wix (I really like your suit and this in no way a disrespect regarding your work) started this build more then two years ago and this was the accepted fact, but now we know that this isn't true.

The same blue hue is present on the Pre-Pro #3 image too:

I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying that that right chest piece MATCHES the rest of the suit with the 1, 3, and the ESB? Because I think it pretty obviously doesn't, I'm just assuming you're saying it's been proven that it's not actually a BLUE, it's just the old photos that make it appear that way, which I heartily agree with. It ISN'T such a super dark blue like in the photos, but it ISN'T the exact same color as the left chest piece. The diamond I think in the ESB and pp3 is also off color with the left and the ab plate. I'm just clarifying what you're trying to say, not start a fight.

I agree that the right chest plate and the center diamond had a darker base color (this is how I did my Pre-Pro #1 armor stencil), but the idea is that the whole suit had a green color and not blue. And I really hope that Boba_die_Wix will do the necesary adjustments... If not, his suit still looks amazing! And yes, The Pre-Pro #1, Pre-Pro #3 and the ESB Hero had almost the same color and scratch scheme:

Oh, yes, I agree completely! That was what I was attempting to say, I was just saying "blue" because that's how it looks in the pictures, I heartily agree that the Pre Pro 1 suit, is actually, a green color. I don't think Boba_Die_Wix is worried about that for now, I mean he's got a PrePro1. Nobody does those. Although I do think it would look amazing for a blue fett. Hell, I might do mine that way, I've been looking for a bucket to start, but I'm not finding anything. Got any recommendations on lids? I saw the FP bucket, but for the time being I want a bucket that I can sand down over and over again to perfect my painting, as I've never used an airbrush before. As always, Rafal, you're my hero.
