Has anyone ever made armor from soft rubber????, like the temuera morrison had on kamino when he looses the cable

I experimented with a couple of flexible pieces. The problem with the material I was using was with tear resistance & it would take FOREVER to set up. I eventually abandoned it for good ol polyester resin & glass cloth.

I could imagine that would be incredibly difficult to trim!
