Help painting ESB armour in the UK
Hi guys. So I got my armor, which i guess has a gel coat as one side in smooth as a baby's ***, the other you can see the fiber glass etc.
So this is my armor so far.

I also got my gauntlets, which are to be converted to ESB style.

Now I have started to rub these down and prep them, however I can not find any colour reference numbers or descriptions that relate to anything here in the UK, can anyone help?
I am planing to airbrush some detail areas with enamel paint, but may use rattle cans for the basic color depending on advice given re color etc. Without guidance from you guys I will just start to experiment/mix my own colors, please help and save me some time here guys.
Cheers Rob.
Re: Help painting ESB armour in the UK
Hey, nice looking armour although you may want to shrink your pics down a little if you can :lol As far as colours go I think there is a thread around here somewhere about correct armour colours which I believe were suggested by Lee (Rogue Studios) they are generally considered to be the best and most accurate, just use the search function at the top of the page and hopefully you'll find what your looking for, if not then guys like Spideyfett and AFFO$ could probably help you out, best of luck and be sure to post progress pictures :thumbsup
EDIT: In the helmet section the top post is Rogue Studios colour list, check it out

Hi HeadlessHunter
I read that, and a heap of others but I can't get a colour match from the paint reference names or numbers (I am in the UK). Looking for a point in the right direction, or a uk supplier.
Cheers Rob.

Ive just ordered some paints from a UK supplier for my Fett 'Dunklegrun' (green) and looks pretty close to me?
Will shoot a Pm with info? ;)

Rustoleum spruce green works fine for the base.I would think you could get that anywhere.
