Gauntlet Hinges

Just wondering where to get the hinges for Gauntles and what size should they be.

i use piano hinges from home depot. they look like this:

How do you attach them? Goop or something similar?

take a look at the pics in MOW's thread...you can see where the hinges should line up...

measure that distance on your gaunts, and then measure that out on the piano hinges like STG suggested...you can find them at Lowe's as well...you will have to cut the hinges to match the length you need...a hack saw does well...

Ok thanks. But how wide should the hinge be? Or is it just one size as far as how wide they are?

i think they come in 1.25 and 1.5... they might be wider too, but i think the thinner the better.

sometimes it's easier to just go in and look at stuff than think about it too much ahead of time. over thinking it can make it more complicated than it needs to be.
