Gauntlet Double Hinge

Well, I was having issues with the gauntlets staying secure with the normal strapping system. It felt at times as if they were loose and slipping. So, I decided to make my gauntlets double hinged. It was a lot of work, but in the end, completely secure, and both side will look even.

I was about to post something like this. Wore my ROTJ Fett for 9 hours yesterday at an outdoor festival and the left gauntlet just doesn't wanna stay in place. I gotta replace velcro with something more secure, but I also gotta stuff it with padding or something to make it tight (I cut the bottom clamshell much too big). Also gotta find a better battery solution because the 9v for the little red light and 2 AA for the yellow LEDs in the flamethrower tips make the thing too heavy. It always wants to rotate around my arm.

Does anyone actually attach the gauntlet to the flightsuit sleeve? My old gauntlet had one snap, just behind the keypad to snap just above my wrist, but I felt like the weight was eventually going to just tear at the fabric.
