Awesome!!! Thanks for posting your findings!!! This has been a great week for Fett info!
wow, that's awesome guys, thanks!
and now i see how the stayed in the gauntlets... they are much longer than the replicas people make... way more surface inside the gauntlet to glue on to.
and what's awesome is that now that they are out there, people can start making REALLY accurate replicas.
Exactly Brian. Now that the community knows about it instead of a select few we can all reap the benefits from more accurate props.
Wow, I have been researching for months for "Fett Gear" and I only wish I had found this place sooner! Thanks guys!
Is there only one on each turntable? I.E. you would need to find four tables to make your gauntlet.
I had a chance to photograph a few darts today and it is really incredible just how small these pieces are. Here they are compared to a US quarter.

wow, what a great find![]()
how wold one aquire four of these,I checked the web site & I cant find them.
One more pic...
Nice picture Art. Here's the comparison one I took holding one of your real darts up to the machined fan-made parts on Brian's guantlet. What a huge difference!
Also figured I'd post the other guantlet with a real dental expander next to the resin one for comparison.

Wizardofflights prints from a year and a half ago show the threads.
Serenity and I knew they were there.
The reason that the "Fan made" ones do not have threads is the fact that they are so small.
Pain in the butt.
I think that may be why Jango's gaunt darts don't. If they were made in a shop that is and not robbed from something the way Boba's were.
Now that we know that they are stainless, it could be easier to do. When you use a die on aluminum that small, it gaulds up and rips itself apart.
what an awesome day today. picked up 4 of the real ones today.
The stainless steel ones I made about 5 years ago are threaded.

Yay! Another found part, this is awesome!
Does anyone know what that part is called though? That might make it easier to track down...
I received my sweep arm today & took this pic next to my gauntlets
Anyone know who made the darts I have?
Hi,
a short question tho slave1pilot. What do you have used for that thing above the darts?
Regards
Jack
I'm not S1P, but I'll answer. That piece might be a found part but we haven't been able to identify it yet. Anyway, surely it's a scratchbuilt piece, and all the gauntlet sellers/makers do sculpt its own piece and add it to the casting.
O.K.
thanks. then i´m going to look for something that looks this way ;-).
