Gauntlet attachment

Hi, all. I just got myself a new pair of MOW esb gauntlets, and I was wondering what the preferred method of attaching the clambshells was. I was thinking of using piano hinge, but I'm not sure what to about the other side. Any help is much appreciated.

I used piano hinge and these clips:

Oh and i forgot to mention in the thread, i cut the piano hinge with the cutting wheel on the dremel.
