Looking good! The weathering will change it again. You 'may' want to consider a matt coat on to seal it all, but like I said, looking good.
Looks like you are maybe a tad heavy on the Yellow, but dang, looks pretty good for your first attempt.
D
I'd have to agree with D, for your first attempt bruv it does look pretty good... but maybe over done it on the yellow. :thumbsup
i thought so to about the yellow......gonna touch it up a tad so rid of some of it more pics to to come thanks for the advice
meybe if you misted a little flat black on it the yellow might not "pop" out as bad. very good though. I wish mine looked that good on my 1st attempt!
less yellow

question whats the best was to attach a shackman chest light?
Good question!!! I've still not figured out the best way to do it, but I've been using duc-tape to do that for years. Works just fine!!! Its really easy to memove if you need to, and it only takes a few minutes to do it. Only downside, is that after while, your lights will slide down some & you will have to readjust, but usually you can make it through 2 or 3 outings before you have to readjust.
i was thinking that or maybe useing screws on the outer sides of the board with nuts and over sized washers to hold it
velcro!!
double sided sticky industrial velcro.
and the paint job is coming along nicely!
maybe ill test some of that out tommorw see how it works tommrow i will finish the neck plate pics soon to come also imma try and get pics of a fan system i got in my mystery

The fan setup looks pretty good. That'll probably be the next thing I tackle after everything else is set to go. I have not yet trooped in my suit so I'm not sure how hot it's going to get under my lid. I can only imagine.
Are you painting topical or layered?
Looks good either way.
Looks great so far. Better, than my first attempt.
iIm just now starting my first paintjob, ROTJ as well. I hope mine turns out this well.
Looking great, nice paint up and great job with the fans. Should be a pretty sweet costume when done!
alright, thanks, i'll keep that in mind.
sorry it took so long....not to sure bout the right side chest......:doh

what you think guys
anything?
I think it looks great man!
Looking good but I'd agree with you that the right plates weathering is a little on the large side? ie the top right 'stripe' and the mid left section...
I'm sure you will mist after but the decal needs some dirt on it too. :thumbsup
well i did shrink it a bit but all the paint brushing on top of airbrushed is starting to look a lil off...on the other hand it looks a lil like real damage:doh
hope the weathering covers it up a bit
This is what I did for another member here... hope it helps ;)
wish i would have had it when i started lol but the weathering looks great
