Hello, I'm in the process of ordering paints for ESB armor, and I'm unsure what the base green should be. I am using humbrol paints, so 76 or 78? Any help is appreciated.

Hello, I'm in the process of ordering paints for ESB armor, and I'm unsure what the base green should be. I am using humbrol paints, so 76 or 78? Any help is appreciated.

78 ia for the helmet...isnt it?
I think most guys using humbrol it's 78 for the base and 76 on top of the 78, for the armor that is. 78 is used for the dome and lower cheeks
and sometimes 78 is used for the gauntlets. Hope this helps and that whatever you do it works out well.
Cool thanks, how about the yellow damage? I read somewhere 99 (lemon), but that doesn't sound right, does it?

Not sure about the humbrol yellow, but if you can find yellow zinc chromite, think that's a testors color that should do it.

I found this link in my search for fett colors. I think it's accurate, but guys like F4R, rafalfett, and Jayvee might be able to check its accuracy.

I havn't looked rigt into the armour, but 78 is indeed the helmet green, so that is probably a good base to be misted with the 76. I would look at insignia yellow (154 i think) as the yellow base

yeah i would give it about 4-6 hours depending on drying conditions, dont rush it, would be my advice
