ESB chest armor color ?

Hi Guys..and gals

I'm just about ready to paint my chest armour.I was wondering if anyone knows for certain if it should be the same colour as the helmet dome and jet pack, or should it be the U.S. medium green?
Any help would be great.

It needs to be a darker green. The Panzer green is to light. the US Med Green may be the way to go, but I am not real sure. from what I read it is the same color armor that the ROTJ has. Just less dents and weathering.

Thanks Mr.Soilman...I was thinking that a different shade of green would bring a bit of interest to the costume. As you say, I remember reading somewhere that it's the U.S. green, but couldn't find where I'd seen it....could've been the rogue studios thread...hmmm , anyway.. I'll try it and see how it looks.

US medium green is just kinda wrong to me since it is the ROTJ color...no offense soilman . I just finished my ESB armor ensemble a couple of months ago and used the Panzer as a base for the chest armor....I then mixed up a custom blend of the left ear green (RLM82 Dark Green) and the Panzer to weather it and got the perfect look that I was after. After the final dusting of weathered black and flat black speckles and then rust speckles it looks spot on IMHO.

Paint it Metallic Silver, then mask off areas you want weathering to show and paint it white! mist with black spray, add some charcoal scorch marks and be a WHITE MANDALORIAN SHOCKTROOPER!!!! LIKE ME!!!!! LIKE RALPH McQUARRIE HAD CONCEIVED! GEORGE'S 2ND WORST FROM THE LAST MISTAKE! EWOKS, NUMBER 1!

Use mustard to help weather. I works great. When it is done your armor smells like a hot dog .
