Does this Chest Armor look right?

I ordered this from Gabriel & it seems to be too small... Is it just me?
My clothing he made is all the right size, but it just looks weird. Any comments?

Armor looks TOO small, close up the back of the vest as well..
do you have a ruler to help with scale?

Can you tape it(armor) to the vest then wear it ... take a pic then we may be able to help.

Yep it's too small for your frame... but just a touch, it also looks narrow, the back plate is for sure to narrow, can you tighten the vest a bit more?
I'll measure my FP armor, once I get home, but maybe someone can chime in before then, maybe you can play around and reposition the plates?!?

the vest also looks too long but that can be changed once you set the armor.

I had this problem with some armor too. I'm about 6' w/ a 52" chest. I ended up using WOF's XL templates to make mine. They seem just about right.

Re: Does this Chest Armor look right?

i guess the question is "how big are you"

there's no question that it looks too small, but it's more a question of whether the plates are movie sized and you need bigger, or if the plates are tiny.

Re: Does this Chest Armor look right?

    Hey Bill
Here is some pics of my FP V.3

I also noticed your collar plate has room for only one stud a side.
and your decal on the plate may be used for scale Ref. to mine.

hope it helps, It looks like you may need to get a new set OR modifie your set. Sintra and bondo..

It's not easy to gauge size thru pics... thats why it took me 10yrs to wait till I thought the Boba Fett props, that ppl sold were correct(or close to), then I bought Items last year and got it done.
It was hard to sit out of the first few FP armor runs BUT I'm glad I did..
you just have to do the same.. I did see a few FP parts in the cargo hold.

start there OR if your skilled you can scratch build a set, I don't think you'll be ready for halloween though.. but thats a good think IMO, you can make a better suit.

welcome to the never ending Boba Fett costume.

Only person Id buy from is FP(Chris)
    or BobaMaker.
Look in the Cargo Hold... I see a few ppl selling FP armor. jump in on it if you can.. then sell your set on Ebay.

Re: Does this Chest Armor look right?

One could argue that the armour size that is made by the makers that big D suggested, is for the screen used armour? IF you feel that you need bigger armour then I can only suggest that you'd have to make it yourself? Altho Wickebeard could possibly work with your dimensions?
