Dental expander

How do you guys get a hold of the dental expander on the left gauntlet?
Do you make it yourself, or is it ordered from someone that has got a resin casting of it? Just wondered.

I recommend Ebay. There was someone that was making metal casts for use on a Vader reveal helmet in the past.

I have a mold somewhere that I given. Let me look....

Whoever has molds to these, I need one too. I never glued mine on when I repainted my gauntlets, and I have since lost it.

What exactly does the dental expander do, what purpose does it serve? Just wondering, cause I've never heard of it.
When I hear "dental expander" I think of the reverse bear trap device Amanda had fixed to her jaw in the first Saw movie.
