Is this the correct size?
I'm starting my first armor build. I finally got WoF's templates printed out so just to size them I put them on one of my T-shirts. I'm 6 ft with average build, so I printed out WoF's large templates that were the correct size and placed them on one of my new fairly average Large size T-shirt and they look rather small. But this is also my first set of armor so I don't know if thats just my untrained eye.
Attachment 46690Attachment 46691 Obviously one was with sleeves out and other was with sleeves tucked in, but both have about 4-5 in of space left on the bottom. Is it supposed to be like that?
Re: Is this the correct size?
Are you talking about the gap at the bottom of the armor?
If so keep in mind that you belly/waist area will have the the girth belt, ammo belt and side pouches.
Add to that the cod armor comes up to meet the belts.
Think it looks fine. You need a gap to fit in all that stuff listed above.
Also keep in mind that a t-shirt is not a taylored as the flack vest will be.

Re: Is this the correct size?
Hi, I'm working on my first set of armour as well and I'm only a few steps passed you. Here's what I did. I stuck the templates onto a t-shirt that I was wearing over a flight suit then took photos of my self in similar poses as pictures of Boba, then compared photos. Attachment 46699
Re: Is this the correct size?
Thanks guys... I was a little worried for a sec. sorry for being late on the "thank you" once someone said it was ok, I gunned it and went straight to building. I'll probably make a WIP thread to show for it.
