Chest Light Display: Which One?
I have FP armor and I'm trimming out the chest. I figure that I better get the display before I cut too much off.
I'm aware of the TK409 and Fettronics boards. I'm just wondering if there is a big difference? I'm not looking to bash either one I just want to pros and cons. Is there another one out there? Are they still making them?
Thanks for the help.

fettronics all the way brother...he actually uses your dimensions to make his...
Re: Chest Light Display: Which One?
I just put the fettronics in my FP armor. Looks great. I did need to trim the opening a little bit. I then trimmed the smoke material provided by FP to fit in the slots. Here is a pic.
Sorry for the flash. Fettronics stuff is really bright even behind the smoke lexan and with the flash.

Is that red plastic or the greenish plastic in front of your electronics?
Re: Chest Light Display: Which One?
Greenish, provides a nice look if the lights are off.

Just wanted to chime in.
I use PIC chips that can be programmed (by me) to display any sequence, so you don't have to stick with the standard sequence if you aren't regulated by your garrison, or if you're working on a custom mando armor.
Check out www fettronics com for details on custom sequencing you can create yourself.
Re: Chest Light Display: Which One?
I just received the Fettronics in the mail. It works great, now I can finish trimming my chest piece.
