Its finally time to start the armor on my budget ROTJ Fett. And so far the sheet of sintra was going to be the most expensive piece, about $50 bucks for a 4 x 8 sheet. I was calling around trying to get the best price and i found out there was a sign supply company 5 miles from my home. Called them up and asked if they sold scrap or damaged pieces for a discount, the guy said no but they sometimes have cover pieces that they ship on top of the good pieces of sintra. He said they are usually pretty damaged but i could take a look at them if interested. I went there this morning and looked at the "damaged" sheet. It had some very very minor scratches and some dirt on it but otherwise perfect. I asked how much and he said i could have it for free!
So my budget boba is going to be even more budget than originally planned, which is ok with me! I am going to start cutting the pieces using WOF's templates and ill post pics as soon as i get it going!
