Has anybody used snaps attached to fibreglass armour to secure to your flak vest?
Have no problem attaching them to the vest but I've tried a few different adhesives on the armour but nothing lasts very long.
Any suggestions?

fiberglass "bondo". the same stuff you use on your car. instead of the regular car bondo buy fiberglass bondo. glue your snaps in place where you want them secured, mix the fiberglass, and then apply it around the snaps, let it dry and your done.

Can you get plastic-weld over there across the pond??? Thats what I used on my FG set. I've been trooping with it for almost 3 years now & have not had a problem yet. I really have nuthing but good things to say about plastic-weld!!! Sets up fast to!! Ready to troop in about 25 minutes.
Edit: The stuff i use comes from walmart here in the states, but it looks like the stuff here is the same type of epoxy.
