Another colour on the armour

Because i am painting my BM armour, i have been looking at many pictures, and also to the ESB movie.

i have seen that the small piece that goes in the middle of the chest is darker than the rest of the armour. But i have seen this only on the ESB armour.

If we do care as making small scratches, dents, and getting the right color....isnt this important also?

What do you think?

I think someone posted a thread about this a couple of weeks ago and the general consensus was...yes on the different color.

HERE is the more important thing I notice, though. Look closely at the first pic...

I had no clue OJ Simpson was in ESB!
