I'd be VERY interested. I'd love to have an Aluminum Missile, But this seem alot more affordable. especially since I plan on doing an ESB, ROTJ and Jango.As long as it's accurate, and yours looks AWESOME, I don't really care what it's made out of.
My brother is still working on HIS blueprints for the missile but these will probably become wall art for me.
So, I'm definatly interested!

Any chance of having the mold dusted with aluminum powder prior to casting? I have seen this done on other resin pieces and the result is a nice metallic finish. An added benefit is that it also acts as a mold release.
We've already asked the caster about metal powder's and he advised against it actually. The caster said he uses the powder's, but for this piece not to do it. I don't remember what his reasoning was behind it exactly. It wasn't a price thing either. I can contact him to see what his reasoning was if need be. Thanks for the suggestion though. Mark

Flip that missle over so that everyone can see what the bottom of one is supposed to look like.

Oh yeah, I've seen this beauty, but it is apparent that not everyone is clear what the bottom half actually looks like.
They should do their homework and stare at the pictures under a microscope. It's worked for me
I'm glad I make glasses for a living, I need them now after staring at pics of the rocket myself. This was version #3, I have 2 other versions that are OK, but this last one was the MOST accurate of the 3. Boba Phett worked long and hard to get this as visually accurate as possible to the original movie gauntlet rocket, and I only wanted the BEST to have a machine version made. Once this was machined we decided to take the master and have affordable replicas made to make it available to the Dented Helmet because right now the machined rocket sits in a box in my office and isn't being used. Now EVERYONE can have their very own movie sized gauntlet rocket
Been out of town again, and great work gets done while I'm gone.

It was nice to see some of our members sporting their new rockets at D*con, they looked amazing on their gauntlets. With production going smoothly, most of you that have already sighned up and paid should be seeing your rockets soon, we will only accept payments once your rocket is available to ensure that you get it in a timely manner. I hope you guys are happy with them.

If you don't have one of these I would recommend snagging one while you can the Missle/Laser is spot on. I bought one at Dragon con and I love it. I was particulary impressed at how well it was scaled it, it practically matched what I came up with on my on alum missle and it was uncanny but his was better in my book. Great work!

Fettcicle took some samples with him to Dcon for show and tell at the last minute. In case you are wondering why some people have them already. We wanted to get some other opinions about the rocket before committing them to full production.
I will send a PM to you when I have a rocket to fill your order. I'm a firm believer in not accepting any payment until I have product in hand to ship.

I've already installed them on the Gauntlet and they look PERFECT! And Stainless to boot!
If Accuracy is what your wanting, These Darts are just the thing.
I tried making my own. I tried using Pellets, didn't like.
I tried the old Bic Pen tips, didn't like. Heck, I even bought a set of Resin darts off Ebay, too big, didn't like.
After buying all this stuff plus the aluminum tubing, I spent MORE trying to make my own than what it cost for these.
If anyone wants to see pics of them mounted on my RKT
Gaunt, let me know. I'll be MORE than Happy.

Okay, Mark, I can't pass these up, especially after they received the D*Con contingent endorsement!
I received my missle just in time for Dragon-Con (as a matter of fact, I weathered it in the hotel room).
I have never seen a resin piece that needed so little work to get armor-ready! No Dremel-ing out chunks, or mis-aligned seams, or anything.
I did a light sanding, only so the paint would grip. Awesome work on these! The two screws are BIG, and the washers are included.
I wish I had pics of the finished piece, but anyone who grabs one of these will be VERY happy!
Got mine today and I'm very impressed with the proportions and overall sized and neatness of construction. Being able to take the cone off will make it easier to paint. I need to get my hands on another one of these bad boys for my ESB guants!

Got mine today, it is awesome!!! The cast is perfact and clean. It is also much bigger then the FP one.

We tried very hard to produce a product with little to no clean up on it. Thats why we got a professional to cast these for us.

Seriously, superb ! I know that COUNTLESS HOURS HAD TO HAVE GONE INTO THIS guys and gals .... I know that I threw my hands up in frustration when I made mine, because I never could get it right.
Although I didn't have the pleasure of seeing one of these bad boys in person, the pics speak volumes. If you haven't ROMPPED on this one yet, I seriously suggest you do so while they're still available ! You won't find this level of accuracy, with this kind of affordability IMHO.

The new resin one is the bigger clean one compared to the FP version.
New one on FP ROTJ guantlet. Still needs weatherd I know
