Not bad for a first time paint job bruv...
Are you gonna get some grimy grey in some places to give it some texture?
Also don't forget to look at some ref material for those little scratches here and there.![]()
IMHO...you have the right idea with the weathering...good job, but the size and locations of some of the damage seems off. IF you are going for the RotJ/SE look, be sure to check out some of the ref pics. You can find them in the Wiki.
Just a "For Example", the center piece of the chest armor should have very little weathering on it and should have a silver center.
The knees look very good! Nice work!
You'll be able to see from the MoM exhibit photos that the armor is just grimy and dirty, so don't afraid to do a grimy black mist and add some splatter.
Yea I know , I got a little carried away with the liquid mask. I hope that when I get to the graphite and dirt stage it won't be as noticeable.but for now I'm on hold waiting for my decals to arrive in the mail..
The knees look okay (with a little more scratching !!).
The armor seems a little to green/yellow/silver ... and no more. I think you need to rough up your edges and scatch / grime / mist / **** / ... you get the idea .... it up.
Seriously .. the colors are good, but the weathering needs some more work.
Nice start !!![]()
