    Has anyone one explored the thought that the Fett helmet might have used a fiberglass helmet liner as a base? Or has anybody used a fiberglass helmet liner to scratch build a Boba helmet?

    I can’t find a batting helmet that fits correctly and I'm exploring alternatives.

    Giant lightbulbs just went off in my head. My brother has a couple of those in his garage........I'm gonna have to take a looksie at that!

    I started searching for WWII helmets and came across this one;

    Look at the front and side views. Is it possible that they took a casting from one of these to create the Boba dome?
