New Hunter
hello all very new to the boards and prop building in general i have read over the boards and used search but i couldnt find an answer. i went out and bought a skateboard helmet today and thougt it might be a little to small. so i got home and printed out the pages 5-6 that have the dome form on them and turned out there kind of small. i measured it and its 8.5 front to back and 7.5 side to side. it seems to fit on my head but theres not much room for. padding ect.. and the helmet i got was way bigger. so is 8.5x7.5 the size the dome should be. im sorry to be a pain my first post. but thnks for any help.. glenn

Just make the flaps of the dome a bit bigger and the cut them to size while putting it together. I made 4 partions of 5 flaps. Just gleu the 1st and the last of every partion to the inside of the domebase. Then the second and the fourth ( u have to cut the ends of these part the first). And then the 3rd flap (this is need to cut very much). I hope i did a good explanation :)

i printed out more of the templates and taped them together off the paper. seems there going together diffrent then i thought. i took the helmet back that i bought and got one a little smaller. i wasnt real sure how big the parts should be. but i guess if it fits my head thats how big they should be haha. thnks for the help sorry i had to waste forum space :) glenn
