I'm sorry but it occured to me that once a topic goes off topic or asks a question that members are pationate about, we all start arguing like little old women!
I am a relative noob compaired to some here but as far as I can see it's a good helmet. Assuming it arrives safely (fingers crossed) and needs strengthening then that can be done with ease, IF it doesn't need strengthening... all the better. Myster, MS2, Bobamaker or recast matters not! Whilst I agree that it is better to get a bucket from the maker then a recast from someone else, if you like it, and it fulfills your requirements (ie; once painted is suitable for the 501st) then that's all that matters. And I see no reason why it shouldn't be acceptable for the 501st, especially with Webchiefs help!
As to the standard advice of "check eBay" perhaps it's time to rethink that advice. It might prove better to send the interested party information on how to get a deceant helmet via pm or email, telling him/her how to contact the maker/s instead of running the gauntlet of scammers on eBay. Additionally, it might not be a bad idea to list helmets with details so that people can see what is considered a good buy and what isn't.
Good luck with the helmet Christo Fett, and I for one want to see progress pics.
