watch the cargo hold here... folks are always selling something
a typical fiberglass helmet seems to range from $100 - $300 depending on where you get it from and how fancy it is. you then have to sand / paint / etc...
don't buy one on ebay unless you know the seller is a well respected tdh crafter. e.g. don't buy amiadfilter. you'll probably be dissapointed.
Wow.Has anyone made an sterling silver one.?If so how of it did you need? And do they have a mold for it?
An inquiring mind,BFett
What?![]()
Hey,lately my signature's picture wouldn't show up.Anybody know why?
Wanna know,BFett
What do you mean WHAT.?!.?!
Mad,BFett
I think he means, why would you want a sterling silver helmet. Seems like that would be REALLY expensive.
No ones ever made a sterling silver bucket (to my knowledge) there is a maker here who makes awesome aluminium helmets, as mentioned before your best bet is to keep an eye on the cargo hold, there are always good quality helmets for sale if you check back often enough, best of luck and welcome aboard![]()
I'd like a solid gold helmet. And a pony.
Ok so ya'll think its a bad idea with the sterling silver helmet.
.Well me think, well ya wouldn't have to paint the parts with scratches
.Then again it might be too soft
.Alright yall decide.If its a
(worth a try) or
(don't waste time on it)
.
You decide,BFett
This is why you start with primer, then do a metallic silver coat of paint. Mask off some scratches using masking tape, then paint over it with the color you want the helmet to be, remove the tape, then sand the edges of the scratches a bit to make it look more natural.
Or get a cold cast aluminum bucket![]()
i definitely think it would be too soft. silver isn't the toughest thing out there... one drop and i think your bucket would be history. not to mention the $$$ on that much silver!
cold cast or straight up aluminum would both definitely make the silver base code redundant, if that's the route you're looking to go.
OK so ya'll think its a bad idea.Hmmmm,ok fine so a how much does that aluminum helmet cost?.And does anybody know why my signature's picture won't show up?!?!?
Curious,BFett.
Oh ya,tk7602 that website named "stormtrooperguy" that you own is awesome.
A complement,BFett![]()
Although a sterling silver helmet would have amazingly effective anti-werewolf properties, it's probably not the best way to go.
Brandon Fett,
Here is a thread with a lot of info about aluminum helmets.

If the picture is over limits, my guess is it will not be displayed.
You have found a very great site, dude!![]()
Dang B Fett why the really chaotic posting? you dont have to act like a rabid jackalope in heat to get someone to answer your question![]()
Brandon Fett, you need to stop being a noob. Try to clarify your questions more, and you will get clear answers.
