its sitting on the shelf actually...I keep forgetting to grab the mini files from work for the keyslots actually, once I finish cutting it up itll be ready I dont wanna post up pics of the filling really so far Ive filled the scratches and added new ones

And you know what I totally forgot to take pics with a real camera of that process oops...Ima try and find the adapter to take em off my mini sd

Ugh, even though I know what you're striving for it PAINS me to see those pics F4R.

When it ever comes for me to get a second GMH for an ESB (after first getting my unaltered display one) I may have to send it to you to do all the filling and re-scratching.
I don't think I could bring myself to do it.

So the lil guys helmets done minus a proper visor, waiting for one to get here mounted the ear and RF tonight, also added kill stripes before I went to sleep last night

it looks like mabey the MS you had in the jedi paint scheam perhaps?

Oh BTW got my needle files at sears last night instead of borrowing from work, and got the keyslots and visor area sorted, need to install some bolts into the visor area later so I can have it nice and rigid while painting it up. Thinking about painting the inside thoughts opinions? The Jedi helmet looks to have white while the PP3 has black so Im not sure what I want to do really with the ESB, Jedi I may go white but Chris's FG resin looks so nice the way it is. So any opinions on the interior? Colorwise? For ESB my ROTJ Im doin white as the screen used apears to be white in the behind the scenes pics

From what i can make out the inside of the ESB seams to be like either a dusting of blue green almostr like over spray or mabey it is a tinted gel coat,
its strange that the all seem to have difrent colours on the in side, and that the dents were added at difrent times,
Im trying to do a "screen acuraste ESB , im planning on doing the interior last ,
ive seen a 2 good atemps at doing the interor screen acurate,
takes alot of diging for parts matching the real one ,
Are you going for the whole thing bateri pac, foam and all the rest

I dunno yet really, I like to use black foam from the hardware store

Sounds good Im for hire for sure...this is 3 weeks of work so far, projecting next week the ears will be done and on the helmet waiting on a shield to get here for it and the stalk as well

I actually had to strip the left cheek twice and the right one once, the grey wasnt wanting to stick to the silver :p

been using spray paint on this actually some brushed on in obvious spot as smudging and such cant be sprayed

Looking good mate. I love the subtle yellow weathering on the dome, and are those ear details painted on or decals? Very neat I must say :D

Just about done the left ear, I screwed up and grabbed the wrong paint for the green, needless to say I wasted two days of painting since its 4 layers of paint to get to the green...oh well. Found some new Masking fluid which is working out alot better

Shoot, u know how it happened I was txt'n while I was painting...no but really I totally realized it after I went and found a few new colors, I was like jeez I totally used the wrong green on the ear this gives me an excuse to use this new red and put the right green on at the same time...and use my new liquid masking fluid. More pics to come tomorrow...Im working on a jetpack repaint to. Not the whole thing just the fuel cells, I realized I could do something better with it after noticing something in a picture and a light bulb went off in my head that I should redo them.

What masking fluid are switching to?

Fantastic job! You can really tell the difference between the GMH and all other versions with one painted.

Outstanding job can't wait to see it all finished. Just ordered my GMH not to long ago may contact you once I get it. I've not painted a "real" helment before just home made and I don't want to mess up my GMH.

What was your final color list then on this because everything looks spot on. I'm really impressed with the muddy orange overspray. It's just DEAD ON. What colors and were they all rustoleum? Flats and/or semi's? I know what you used on your cheeks and dome.:) And what did you use for your masking? I use to have a jar of latex lying around but I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere so I need to replenish that with something soon.
