Voice Amp Recommendation

New Hunter
With so many voice amps out there. Which one is the most realistic for Boba Fett? I saw someone recommend this one: Choose Your Amp but never saw any videos or wav files on a Fett voice.....

Any other recommendations? I am starting my first helmet build and like ot have the Fett voice to go with it or close enough......

I'd be curious about this too. Also, is there anyone that has managed to keep everything within the helmet without feedback, without having to hide things in the armor?

I used to use a self contained voice amp setup in my helmet, but the volume could never be turned up decently enough. Now I just use the same Aker 1506 setup that all the Stormtrooper use, and run the headset wire under my vest and into the saddlebag on my left hip, which holds the amp.

Well what kind of set up did you use? My helmet is mainly for display but I'd love to at least have some sort of Fett-like voice modulation for anyone that puts it on.

I took the old black Radio Shack voice amp (on top of this picture)...

...and took the electronic guts out (but not the speaker), and mounted those guts in a new small plastic case on the left rear side of the helmet. Since I didn’t use the actual Radio Shack large speaker, I wired the board to 2 small round laptop speakers. One mounted behind the holes in the Borden Connector, the other was on the other cheek, behind that small rectangular indent near the mandible (which I drilled a small hole in to let the sound out). I cut off the headband part of the headset that came with the Radio Shack voice amp, and velcroed the boom inside the right cheek. I could put the helmet on, and then reach the back of the helmet with my left hand to adjust volume.

Still pretty quiet, due to the laptop speakers. So, switching to the normal TK style one helped a ton. People now are like "HE'S GOT A VOICE MODULATOR!" instead of having to lean into me like "What?" when I speak.
